Acceptable use policy

1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) defines the permitted and prohibited uses of the Actrone platform, which Apocalypse Technologies (“we”, “us”) owns and operates. It supplements the Terms of Service and applies to all users of the hosted platform, APIs, and SDKs.
2. Permitted uses
The Service may be used to build, operate, and monitor AI agents for lawful business purposes, including but not limited to: research and data analysis, customer support automation, document processing, code generation and review, and internal workflow automation. You must have the legal right to process any data submitted to the Service.
3. Prohibited uses
You may not use the Service to: (a) violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation; (b) generate, distribute, or host illegal content including CSAM, hate speech, or content that incites violence; (c) engage in surveillance, tracking, or profiling of individuals without their knowledge and consent; (d) conduct unauthorised penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, or denial-of-service attacks against any target; (e) generate spam, phishing content, or fraudulent communications; (f) attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract proprietary algorithms from the platform; (g) use the Service in ways that could damage, disable, or impair the infrastructure; (h) automate financial trading, investment advice, or legal advice in regulated jurisdictions without appropriate licences and disclosures; (i) process regulated health data (PHI) unless on an Enterprise plan with a signed BAA.
4. Governance requirements
If your use case involves consequential automated decisions affecting individuals (credit decisions, hiring, medical triage, criminal justice), you must: activate the AI Governance Engine with an appropriate policy pack; ensure a human review process exists for high-severity violations; maintain records sufficient to explain automated decisions to affected individuals upon request. These requirements may be mandatory under applicable AI regulations (EU AI Act, etc.).
5. Enforcement
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for violations of this AUP without prior notice in cases of serious or repeated breach. For minor violations, we will attempt to notify you and provide an opportunity to remediate before taking action.
6. Reporting violations
To report a violation of this AUP, including abuse of the platform by another user, contact abuse@actrone.com. We investigate all reports and respond within 2 business days.
